Effective June 2026 · The AI Dev · navigating the future of software development
What we collect
We collect your email address when you subscribe. That is the only personal information we hold.
How we use it
Your email address is used solely to send you The AI Dev newsletter, one email per week on Tuesdays. We do not sell, share, or rent your address to anyone.
Where it's stored
Subscriber data is stored in Supabase, a managed Postgres database. Email delivery is handled by Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (SES) in the ap-southeast-2 region.
Email format
Each issue is sent as both plain-text and HTML. There are no tracking pixels, no open tracking, and links go straight to their destination — no click-tracking redirects.
Unsubscribing
Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it immediately removes you from the list. You can also email dilini@javacodehouse.com and we'll remove you manually.
Bot protection
The subscribe form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated signups. Turnstile may process your IP address and device signals to do this, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy — we only receive a pass/fail result, not the underlying data.
Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile, used on the subscribe form, may set its own cookie or use local storage while completing its check.
